Activities & Things To Do
Relaxation is king at Bulgari Resort. You won't find rowdy games, parties and entertainment here - but you will still find much to enjoy - quality time in a chilled, laid-back environment.
The wonderful cliffside infinity pool is clad with natural green-coloured sukabumi stone and perfect for swimming. Often blissfully quiet, you can laze around enjoying the day to your hearts content.
The pristine boulder-studded, white sand beach between the cliff and the water's edge is inaccessible to the general public from both ground and sea, as it is protected by a coral reef. The only access is from the Resort's inclined elevator that takes guests to and from the beach as well as to the Beach Club.
The absence of man-made development is often taken as an invitation by schools of dolphins to frolic in this stretch of sea, visible to guests from the ocean view villas and from the beach.
The coral and the heights of the tide as well as the strength of the current prohibit swimming but the secluded, quiet beauty ensures this private cove is worth a visit to walk the beach, explore the rock pools or relax on the sand.
Guests looking to infuse their stay with local culture have more ways to do so than ever before. Bulgari Resort, Bali has introduced a new suite of experiences inspired by Balinese rituals. Mornings begin with neighbourhood walks, which include Banjar and traditional houses and yoga is offered each day at 9 am.
The afternoon provides travellers with an opportunity to create traditional offerings using flowers and coconut leaves in special baskets called canang. This is followed by a daily cooking demonstration, at which guests can learn how to cook authentic Indonesian dishes. Each evening at 6pm, the sweet sounds of the bamboo rindik suffuse cocktail hour with Eastern ambiance.
Set in the very heart of Bulgari Resort Bali, The Spa is the embodiment of a holistic healing centre, bringing together the therapeutic traditions of Indonesian massage and the contemporary elixirs of modern spa technology.
An antique 'Joglo' house, transported piece by piece from Central Java, creates a unique reception area. Eight treatment rooms overlook the Indian Ocean and spa gardens and suites with private changing areas, plunge pools and outdoor relaxation areas. Modern treatments are combined with ancient techniques to create a range of unique spa rituals.
The Spa's menu is designed to offer a series of complete treatments that integrate Asian and European approaches: the ayurvedic Balinese ritual, facial treatments, body wraps and Balinese massages, all at the ocean's edge.
A fitness room is available, equipped with technologically advanced equipment that ensures a healthy and effective approach to exercise. To maximise guests' available time and effort and to achieve the best form and healthiest physical state as quickly as possible, the Bulgari Resort offers the skill and friendly professionalism of a personal trainer, who designs a personalised program for each guest.
