Getting To Kos By Air The international airport for Kos is Kos Ippokratis International Airport, airport code KGS. From April to October there are regular direct flights from the United Kingdom with Easyjet and Thomas Cook, plus non-direct with Olympic Airlines and Aegean Airlines all year round. Typically the hotels and resorts are open from April to October for the summer season. Flying time is around 4 hours
Getting To Kos By Ferry Ferries operate to Kos from many different ports. The main one being Athens Piraeus port, ferries on this route are daily in high season and 5 times a week in the rest of the year. The trip takes approx 9 hours. Athens International Airport has regular direct flights from the UK with British Airways, Easyjet, Olympic Airlines and Aegean Airlines
